Chia Seed Pudding

These days everyone is talking about Chia Seed! but do you really know what these tiny and humble seeds are!! Chia Seed is an edible seeds that comes from the desert plant, grown in Mexico. “Chia” means strength, and in some cultures, they traditionally used these tiny black and white seeds as an energy booster. That makes sense now because chia seeds are a concentrated food containing healthy omega-3 fatty acids, carbohydrates, protein, fiber, antioxidants, and calcium.The mild flavor of chia seeds makes them easy to add to most food and beverages.

Here, I made two different puddings for two different purposes. First one from the top, I just mixed seeds with coconut milk(you can use any kind of milk you want, But I uses coconut milk because it’s dairy free and it is a good source of fat, but it is also cholesterol-free and rich in many nutrients) and organic Honey and vanilla, cover with lid and put it in refrigerator. Keep the chia seed in fridge over night or for at least 8 hours. You can serve it with your favorite berries and nuts and eat it for breakfast.

Second one is a chocolate pudding which the preparation is almost same as the first one, but First I melted 4 squares of dark chocolate in a coconut milk and then I mixed the rest of the ingredients together, and cover with a tight lid and put it in fridge. You can serve it for desert.
