Whenever I travel, beside the touristic activities I try to go to the places where locals usually go and observe the city as a citizen of that city, but not only as a tourist. This time in NYC I spent an afternoon in Bryant Park in Manhattan. This place is not just a park with the trees and green areas, but there is lot of happening and activities going around. The park is known as a social hang out place where people in all ages can eat, drink, read, play and meet each other. New Yorkers love this place.
Is one of the freshest and finest confectionary delights in the city that now I am obsessed with. I had one of my best New York cheese cake ever at “Lady M”. I love their decoration, It is really simple and the only things which give the place a color are their cakes.
Chicago the musical
Is the number one longest running American musical show in Broadway history. I saw the most astonishing dances and heard wonderful musics one after another. For sure it was one of my highlights from the trip. Unfortunately, there was no camera allowed so forgive me for no more photos.
Beauty & Essex
A very unique dining experience in NYC. You will be surprised when you arrive to this restaurant for the first time. When I got to the door, I just found a small vintage antique shop so I thought I came to the wrong address. From the window you couldn’t see any place to eat and I did not expect any restaurant to be here at all. But behind this antique shop going underground, there was the most attractively designed restaurant and lounge with the most delicious foods waiting for me to explore. I am not a fan of meat balls, but I fell in love with theirs.
If you have been in NYC even for one time, you should know Sarabeth’s. It is one of the most popular contemporary American restaurant in town. I went here two days in a row for breakfast, and I had one of the most delicious breakfast that I ever had. Now I am writing about it, I am craving their eggs benedict with well done crunchy bacon so bad. uh!!
One of the most attraction in NYC is cruising through Hudson river. During this road you witness magnificent close up view of status of liberty, skylines of wall street, Manhattan, Empire state building, and sail beneath the belly of the Brooklyn bridge.
A lovely restaurant on 57th street. Great for casual lunch. Their menu offers something for everyone. Their Beet Salad is amaze!!
It is a very trendy and low-key rooftop bar at Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn. It has wonderful view of Manhattan’s skyline. I suggest to be there when sun is setting so you can have one of the most amazing view of Manhattan.
Renting a bicycle is a great way to explore Central Park. Enjoy the scenery as you pedal, and stopping along your way to explore many attractions.
Last but not least, It is of course Nobu. when I travel to a city which has Nobu in it, I definitely spend one of my out going nights there. The Nobu 57 is spectacularly decorated with of course a mouthwatering menu.
